Whale and Dolphin Conservation group(WDC) said the baiji is the first dolphin that became extinct due to human exploitation, overfishing, and pollution.

Gastric Brooding Frog looks like other amphibians but it is not like that ordinary amphibian. Gastric Brooding Frog was first discovered in 1972 and was found in Australia. This frog is also known by the name platypus frog. The scientist said that this female frog can able to turn their stomach into a womb by swallowing the fertilized egg, and after six weeks 20-25 matured tadpoles came out. “Unfortunately, the last wild gastric-brooding frog was seen in the late 1970s or early 1980s, and the last captive one died in 1983”, according to National Geographic.
Tasmanian Tiger sometimes looks like a wild dog, or big cat however it earned its name from the stripes on the fur. Tasmanian Tiger is a kind of mammal from Australia, that usually ate meat. Tasmanian Tiger from Australia got extinct due to weather and drought. The last Tasmanian Tiger died in 1936.
Pinta Island Tortoise
Pinta Island Tortoise also known as Lonesome George died in 2012. Lonesome George lived for more than 100 years and weights 165 pounds. Pinta Island Tortoise got extinct due to goats ate the vegetation where this species survived. After that human interference also increased day by day which led to some species to extinction.
At first, said that Golden Toad became extinct due to man-made global warming, it was extinct in the year 1989. But in a recent study, it is said that this might not be the reason for the extinction of this colorful species. In 2010, scientists discovered that due to the El Niño weather condition, a certain type of fungus was invented which affect the Golden Toad’s skin and ultimately resulted in death.
